“It starts before the interview” was the response from Dr. Fidelia Bernice when I asked her how she prepared for her residency interviews during midyear.
Dr. Bernice received her B.S. in Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Studies and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of the Sciences – Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Infectious Diseases Specialty Pharmacy Residency training at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. On this episode Dr. Bernice shares her experience as an HIV and general Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She talks candidly about going from a learner to a preceptor and discusses how she gained her confidence.
