I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Ashlee Eltayeb! Dr. Eltayeb received an undergraduate degree in Plant Science and Biotechnology and her PharmD from Florida A&M UniversitySchool of Pharmacy, she’s a Pharmacy Manager in a community setting as well as a CBD consultant.
On this episode, she’s giving her honest perspective about practicing in the retail setting, why she pursued it, what she enjoys about it, and what she wishes she could change. She shares why she obtained a pharmacy informatics certification and her advice to anyone interested in obtaining additional certifications.
Dr. Eltayeb shares her personal journey with cannabidiol, or CBD oil, and breaks down the difference between CBD and cannabis. Not to mention, Dr. Eltayeb was selected for the Women of Distinction Honors and she’s also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
