On this episode, I have the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Shanice Anderson. She is originally from South Florida and was born to a Jamaican family.
She earned her bachelor of science degree in biomedical sciences at the University of South Florida in Tampa Florida and later moved to Washington DC where she completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Howard University.
In her last year of pharmacy school, she launched a handmade hair product line, RxHair, creating products with the knowledge she gained in pursuit of her pharmacy degree. She’s been endorsed by Ari Lennox, Sanya Richards-Ross, and musical duo VanJess. Her product RxHair has been proven to take moisture control to the next level.
She’s celebrating one year in business while completing a one-year postdoctoral fellowship at Novo Nordisk in Regulatory Advertising and Promotion and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
